Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I'm eligible for government funding?
Eligibility varies by program and state. Generally you need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, meet age requirements, and not already hold the qualification. Contact us and we'll help determine your eligibility.
Can I access funding for online courses?
Some funding programs cover online delivery while others require face-to-face attendance. NSW Smart and Skilled, for example, may be available for certain online qualifications. Contact us to check what applies to your course of interest.
What is NSW Smart and Skilled?
Smart and Skilled is a NSW Government reform providing eligible students with an entitlement to government-subsidised training up to Certificate III, and funding for higher-level courses in priority areas. Asset College is an approved provider.
What payment plans are available?
We offer Zip Money (interest-free repayment options, pay nothing on day of purchase) and a 4-instalment Pay As You Go option for online courses, where each instalment covers 25% of the total course fee plus an administration fee.
Are funded places limited?
Yes. Funded training places are limited and subject to availability. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible to secure your funded place before it fills up.
Can I get funding if I already have a qualification?
This depends on the specific program. Some programs allow upskilling to a higher level even if you hold a prior qualification. Contact us to discuss your situation and we'll find the best pathway for you.
