Licensing Requirements
To perform cash-in-transit duties in Queensland, individuals must hold the Security Officer (Cash-in-Transit) function on a Class 1 Security Providers Licence issued by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).
Key Licensing Steps:
1. Prepare required identification and supporting documents
2. Complete mandatory training (CPP20218 Certificate II + this CIT Skill Set)
3. Submit licence application and pay applicable fees to OFT
4. Undergo mandatory probity and criminal history checks
5. Attend an approved Police Station to have fingerprints taken
6. Receive a licensing determination from OFT
